The Big Bible Project

The @BigBible Project is a non-denominational project which promotes Bible reading within a community setting, whether online or offline. Please do interact with us on the site, commenting and contributing stories. Part of the #biblefresh initiative.

The #BigRead12 : meeting together in housegroups to read the Bible, making use of Tom Wright's Mark for Lent with opportunities to go much bigger and much more creative and join in online (inter)nationally. From quiet sitting rooms with Bibles and books, to coffee shops and internet chatrooms across the world.

The Big Bible Project #BigBible

The Big Bible Project looks to encourage increasing Biblical literacy in the Christian community, highlighting events, good news stories, digital stories, and explorations of the use of the Bible online and offline.

It arose within Biblefresh, a 2011 national initiative encouraging Christians to read and engage with their Bibles more (reading, training, translating and engaging).

Digital Discipleship #DigiDisciple

A ‘digital disciple’, or, as we are calling it, a #digidisciple is someone who is seeking to live Biblically in the digital culture. We are all on a journey in the digital spaces, and can help each other along by sharing our experiences, giving insights to tips for using digital tools, and partaking in debates about the nature of living a life of faith online.
