A great day at #sm4sc, London, with @eaukslipstream

One of the key themes of the day, which I maybe picked up on, because it’s a key passion of mine.. is that we share our knowledge and expertise, looking to complement each other, rather than competing, and so we’d love to hear your stories so that expertise and inspiration can be shared!

Get a Tag on the Conversation?

To get the best idea of the way that debates were going throughout the day, check out Twapperkeeper, which stores tweets from the hashtag (just be aware that somewhere in the States also uses the hashtag, so there may be a mix!). Here are the talks from 2009 ‘Digimission’, and this year’s talks should follow at some point, we’ll let you know.

Look Over Our Shoulders

I’m hoping we’ll see more of these, but meantime, here are the notes from one of the discussions at my table:

How can we overcome some of the fears that people have about going online?

I LOVED – you don’t need to understand how a car works to drive, so why do you need to understand how a computer works to go online? (Paul Windo)

Listen In

Meantime, to get a taste of what went on this year, check out some AudioBoos:

There are also a few snippets of actual talks available (Boos are maximum 5 minutes long). This book might also be of interest to some.
