A biopic is a biographical film of someone’s life. On Big Bible, as a #digidisciple, you bio and pic can help people gain an insight into your life, and help contextualise the posts that you provide. Above is Bex’s bio and picture.
Adding Your Biography
Add a simple biography (shorter is better, and if you redirect people to your website, they can read more about you there).
- Go to ‘Your Profile‘ when logged in.
- Find the ‘Biographical Info’, and add enough information to help people understand who you are, and where you’re coming from!
You may notice that The Big Bible Project simply uses it’s Twitter biography, which can be helpful as a starting point.Adding Your Picture
WordPress, the system that we use for blogging, draws upon ‘Gravatars’ to provide pictures for its blog authors.
Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?
Simply go to Gravatar.com and follow the simple instructions. Providing that you are using the same email address as you used to sign up for this blog, it will pick up on your image, and display it with your author details.
