We called it ‘the Big Read’, and so it was. Thousands of people across the north-east of England, and some beyond, took part in an ecumenical project in Lent and Eastertide 2010. Luke’s gospel was the book to work through that year, and so we did – in churches, in small groups involving people from several different Christian denominations, and individually.
The #BigRead10 Materials
The little guide-book, Lent for Everyone (Luke) was designed to help people find their way through, one by one, so that they could then come together and share what they were learning.
