Designed mainly for children up to age 10, Bible stories are told in a contemporary and exciting way - recorded especially and exclusively to be listened to on the built-in player, or downloaded to play on PC, MP3 player, or burnt to CD. Each story is broken down into 10-minute episodes, with voice-acting, sound effects and music.

It makes use of a cool online presentation builder called Prezi. You place words, images and video on a canvas, and then scroll around the screen, zooming in on preset areas. The creative possibilities for liturgy, bible readings, notices, (songwords?) are pretty much endless! Lectio Divina is an ancient art of Bible meditation. This guided meditiation takes you through reading and hearing the passage a number of times, then reflecting on the parts which jump out to you. The Youthwork DJ Steve Leach played a track by Jon Hopkins over the top (hear it on You Tube), but you could use another piece of music or none.

For 2011, Biblefresh became a movement of hundreds of churches, agencies, colleges, festivals and denominations to encourage people, particularly within the church, to stop viewing the Bible as a toxic text, and find new ways to engage with passion with the Bible.
